“ I love this restaurant. The food is delicious, the menu is varied, the staff is always friendly, and the price is right. And zero attitude. I first went here literally 20 years ago and just went back yesterday for the first time since. Same sweet greeting at the door, same delicious food. I was seated right away and there was zero problem that I was a solo diner. I had the gamjatang (pork bone soup) and it was very delicious, with a very meaty bone. This is one of those foods that are relatively unknown in the US, but are super popular in SK. The galbitang here is also very tasty, and they have bbq at every table and even tangsuyuk...but not jjajangmyeon. ”

“ This place is awesome! They are definitely known for their generous portions of banchan (side dishes, which are on the house at Korean restaurants and part of the traditional dining experience). The bbq is great for larger parties and I recommend the hot stone bibimbop or dumpling rice cake soup for a taste of true Korean comfort food. The staff is kind and friendly; with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. If you're looking for an affordable Korean spot, this is the place to go. Right off the Jackson Heights/74 Street train station in the heart of Queens, it beats eating in crowded Koreatown anyday. Chung Ki Wa never disappoints! ”

“ This is a 24 hour Korean restaurant. They serve traditional food. They have a wide selection of alcohol. They do BBQ and will grill it for you too. The x times I've stopped here before the US Open, to eat is too many to count. Locals flock to this destination for great eats and have a few drinks. It's quite a vibe. One negative. The ahjumma can be short on you sometimes. ”

“ This is one of my favorite places to eat authentic Korean food. I believe it's owned by two sweet grandma's because I always see them and they help me whenever I order. They're always super nice and sometimes give extra side dishes when I order a lot for my family! I keep coming back here, and although I've always done takeout, I plan to eat inside eventually. The place is clean and very home-y. Honestly every single thing I've tried here has been absolutely delicious. But my favorite dish here is the seafood pancake and the galbi-tang. I highly recommend coming here at least once! You won't regret it. ”

“ Quite convenient spot, just outside the Jackson height station. It looks like a super old restaurant and there is a smell of old furniture inside the restaurant. But to be honest I was quite impressive about their side dishes. Super yummy. Even they may all look in red but actually the way of seasoning is totally different. Like the firm tofu in spicy sauce is not spicy at all. And I quite like the texture of the firm tofu. The potato is bouncy and cooked well and flavorful. Just the way I like. The LA beef rib is well marinated. Tasted slight sweet and the beef is soft and well cooked. I could not believe that I finished them all. But the menus says there is beef and seafood inside the tofu soup. I found no such things but silly tofu. Anyway still recommend this one. ”
